Hey guys, It's ThatAwesomePotterhead!
So I am blogging today to tell you why I don't shop at and don't like A&F. I have 3 main reasons.
1) It's too mainstream.
Honestly, I am far from a fan of mainstream clothing. Like, I have to really, REALLY love the shirt if I'm going to buy a shirt from Aeropostale or Forever 21 or some place like that. And a & f is EVERYWHERE, from the 'burbs of the Bay to rural Kansas to NYC. So yeah, from my point of view, a&f is about as widespread and mainstream and popular and bull like that. And me? I'm not a fan of looking exactly like all of the other kids on the block. So no, I don't like and don't shop there because it's too mainstream.
2) I don't like being a walking ad.
Ok, not all of their graphic tees have this, but a lot are like this------------------->
That is literally just an ad in graphic tee form. And yes, I know that I have Pikachu tees and Harry Potter tees, but those are different. Those have art and literature on them, this has a logo and that's it. So no.
3) They hate people who aren't beautiful, cool, and skinny.

Ok, go get a load of that crap. Done? Ok, so let me first just say that I am not cool (on purpose), only kinda maybe beautiful, and I am average sized. Basically, I think it's just plain WRONG to purposefully exclude people for those reasons. And yes, I know that they have started to make plus sized stuff. Well hoorah for them, but this is still a very valid reason because to have a CEO that thinks like that is wrong and gross and stupid and total bull(particularly when you see what he looks like). And really? Picking your employees based on what they look like is a horrible system for hiring people, because they could be bad at their jobs and also perverted.
So yeah, that's why I will never and have never shopped at Abercrombie & Fitch! What do you think?
See you!
